The Nerf N Strike Maverick is a six-shot semi-automatic blaster that will shoot as fast as you can pump and pull the trigger. It features great range and accuracy, and the pop out chamber is a lot of fun.

Best Nerf gun ever! Great range for a pistol style gun. Best of all, it’s a REVOLVER! Revolvers are the coolest handguns ever made. And with a simple little mod, you cam make the reloading drum (forgot what that part was called) pop all the way out without it falling off the gun.
This was my son’s first Nerf gun. I never appreciated it until I started shooting the others: Raider, Recon, MagStrike, AS-20, SwitchShot, and the Vulcan. The Maverick is extremely accurate and shoots 25-30ft flat, and up to ~45ft angled. I love the dart velocity. It does jam if the darts aren’t pushed in all the way, but it’s very easy to fix and easy to reload. I wish it held 10+ darts, but still this is my 2nd favorite gun next to the Raider. I highly recommend this gun. It should be a staple in everyone’s nerf armory.
This gun is the best there is. It is small, lightweight and holds 6 bullets. Its range and accuracy are superb for a handgun plus it never jams. You only need to mod it so that the barrel flicks out all the way instead of one third by cutting/breaking off the white bits on each side of the barrel. then u take the air restricters out and u have an awesome gun. I would recommend this over the Nite Finder because of lack of ammo capacity though the Nite Finder is way easy to mod.
People say I’m crazy, but I prefer the Maverick over any other nerf gun out there. It’s easy to modify, and there are lots of modifications that can be made to make it better. Basically, if you don’t like something about it, it’s easy to fix and/or make better, if you have a couple of simple tools. :รพ
I have had a NERF Maverick since I was 10, and I absolutely love it! I modded it so that when you bull the bolt or whatever it’s called back, the bolt doesn’t spring back until I pull the trigger.
The Maverick is a very reliable gun that you can depend on not to jam in Nerf wars. It is my trusty sidearm.
the maverick is THE best gun it rarely jams its great for kids in a nerf war i want the maverickat my side i have 4 of them i moded one to have the recon barrel hot glue works the best i kinda regret this mod though it looks kool but makes it bulky dont do this mod if you love thr maverick
One of the best Nerf blasters around. Handy sidearm that never fails. I think it’s got a great price, range, but a not-so-good-look because it’s one of the 1st N-Strike blasters, and lacks the patterns and feel of the newer Nerf blasters.
I love this gun alot, but mine is slightly broken with age and misuse (trying to curve bullets
). I wouldn’t recommend giving it to a child if you want it to last longer than a year or two.
overall i give it a 10/10 because all NERF’s other sidearms are pieces of crap. another misuse that would break it is Russian Roulette. spinning the rev too much makes it start to jam.
A real nice gun. It’s my first choice for a sidearm, but it’s very big for a pistol. The best thing to do with it if you want to hold another gun, is get some kind of belt-clip device, and clip it onto the litte ring on the back of the cock, the clip it onto your belt. overall very good gun. nice for playing russian roulette with. hehe……..
p.s. if you use it for russian roulette, spin the barrel BEFORE REPEAT BEFORE putting it into the gun, otherwise it might break.
