This gun is the best gun EVER! I have one and whenever i use it, i just pwn all of the noobs that I’m playing against. It’s totally awesome!
This gun is HORRID. It will NOT shoot over 50 feet MODDED which makes ranges pathetic, rat of fir ok but not great, reloading is slow, and accuracy is terrible.

um it sucks its inaccurate…the bullets spiral, its range stinks and it jams and blank fires a lot..lets not get started on the reloading

This is a great gun. It’s lightweight, holds 6 darts and has a barrel. It has a decent distance without modding it too.

I picked one up in the better metal/yellow/black color. It’s an once or two heavier than the Supermaxx’s but fires much better, has a much better grip, and the slide is quick and short. The only issue is the slow reload and misfire because of the chamber, it doesn’t swing out far enough. You can’t beat a giant revolver, especially with the amount of mods available for it.

I bought it and it is great. Its easy to reload, it just takes a while, its ultra quick, its accurate, it just doesnt have a huge amount of range, sadly, but over all, its number 3 on my all timer.

I’ve noticed that the misfire problem only occurs when you try to fire too quickly. If you squeeze the trigger it will always fire properly. They stuck alot of rails on this gun; it should have come with a dart holder undercarriage.
And another thing the reload grip has nearly cut my hand open 3 times over they should make a primeing stick like the one on the nitefinder.
I don’t mind the maverick, But it could be a little better. First of all, Why if you pump it twice can’t it fire twice? Second- WHAT IS UP WITH THE STUPID THING THAT GOES WITH THE PUMP-THINGY?! not that i’m complaining or anything…

this is one of my favorite guns. i once had a bee infestation in my house and my trusty maverick shot down a bumble bee! no joke.

This is a surprisingly good gun, even though it is small, it fires far. It’s never jammed for me and it will be like a sidekick for you. It low priced and great. I recommend it. 10 stars!
Its a good reliable pistol good straight fire, great reloading,fantastic accuracy though.All in all 9 star gun. And No DJ just suction cups.

Love this gun. Accurate and quick to reload. Way more versatile than any of the bigger guns like the longshot and the recon.
Ive had it for years and it’s never jammed or malfunctioned in any way

Hey i just got the maverick yesterday but it broke and the barrel would not spin so i stayed up till like 11 pm fixing it and i fixed it yay btw i’m 11

The good thing about the maverick is that it is semi accurate. I would recommend it as a side arm.
it sometimes jams, it is great for a pistol in a war. it shoots pretty good range for a pistol. Shoots fast
I’ve found it jams if you don’t put the darts all the way into their chamber. Other than that it’s a great little side arm to back you up.
My first NERF gun. Very nice. Like the ammo capacity and rate of fire. However, the reloading is clumbsy and you won’t get much range on it (I don’t mod mine so I don’t know about how good it is modded). Still, its cheap price, light weight, and ammo capacity make it worth the price.

I just bought this gun for a game of Humans vs Zombies, and I can honestly say that if I want to survive, I can’t possibly rely on a gun that doesn’t fire consistently.
I had one of the older models, and it was fantastic, but I couldn’t find it and thought the new ones would be a suitable replacement. I was wrong.
This gun is awsome.
Its rate of fire is good because it has more ammo and i pown with it when i vs people better than me.
Best Nerf gun ever! Great range for a pistol style gun. Best of all, it’s a REVOLVER! Revolvers are the coolest handguns ever made. And with a simple little mod, you cam make the reloading drum (forgot what that part was called) pop all the way out without it falling off the gun.
This one rocks. No good with glow darts and STINKS with the velcro darts. Get it with the micro clip darts and its got a range of about 25 feet. Careful modding it could easily break it. It shoots like 6 darts in 10 secs.

I was over my friends house once, I tried the Maverick and it sucks, the range sucks, its mostly shoots blanks and the darts spiral, and peeps with small hands have to hold it with two hands. I have medium sized hands and I had to hold it with two hands. You’re better off getting the Nerf Nite Finder EX-3.
I like this gun, but it’s pretty innaccurate, and loading is a pain unless you take the time to mod it to pop out fully. Once you’ve done that, and screwed around with the resistors, it’s not bad. Still prefer my modded Recon, but that’s just me.

i’ve got a maverick and i love it!!!the accuracy owns and i smash all my friends in a game!! if it could hold more darts in the barrel it would be a truly amazing gun!
Love this gun. Accuracy is moderate, and a slower reload.. but dont you have to reload the firefly the same way? i havn’t tryed to mod any of my wepons. the only thing i find discuraging about this gun is that it does take a while to reload and my handle for the cock mechanism broke 0.0 but i only thing that was because i acedently let it drop and a small peice broke off. but i replaced that peice and it works fine. But a good thing is i figured out it shoots the Longshot bullets which is a plus in my book. I usually reload when i have one shot let and then i dont even put out the cylender just put a dart into the left cilinder that is open and if i have a way to guard myself ill pop open the barrel.

When I modded the barrel,I managed to shoot one of the darts 55 feet! I attached a scope to it,and the accuracy was 110%!I Love this NERF gun!

Its good for a last resort gun but it jams so easily I think you’ve just got to get used to it its not totally crap but its not the best gun ever either.
pretty good but sometimes with the pop out reloading chamber only the back comes out and the front is jammed
dont get why people call it inaccurate, I can hit darts sticking on the wall with this gun and have ~3″ groupings, as for jamming, yeah, dont pull too fast and it wont jam

it has good range, accuracy, everything! though the realoading could be easier, it’s still awsome.
No one mentioned you can easily reload by pushing the darts right down the barrel. This method “seats” the darts down nice and snug too. Never have to open it at all. Try it!
@Sean, I get where you’re coming from buddy, but I don’t really think ANY Nerf gun does that, and I have a pretty big collection (try 12 of ‘em). The winners on range would be the Vulcan, the Longshot, or the Recon. Now @all, It’s a really great gun, my personal all-time favorite. It is easy to cock which is important, and it can shoot a good thirty feet (I never bothered measuring so that’s an educated guess).
This gun is the best there is. It is small, lightweight and holds 6 bullets. Its range and accuracy are superb for a handgun plus it never jams. You only need to mod it so that the barrel flicks out all the way instead of one third by cutting/breaking off the white bits on each side of the barrel. then u take the air restricters out and u have an awesome gun. I would recommend this over the Nite Finder because of lack of ammo capacity though the Nite Finder is way easy to mod.
I modded this to be fully automatic, 80 feet range, and added a scope. This gun is the best of the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has a fuw miner problems like it jamming if you try to fier it fast.But other than that I love it. Sooooooo easy to relode it can use any darts from stremline darts to vulcan darts.I feel like I wont 20 of each (eventhoue I say that to all my NERF GUNS.)

DJ it can take most thing but not velcro darts.

This is the worst nerf gun ever!!!!!!!!!!!the cocking is horrible! I used it 2 times and it broke! It will not latch when I cock it, it shot horrible when it did fire.
worst built gun out there, I was camping in africa when a rhino comes up thru the bush and I reach for me maverick, I put the site rite on his temple and fired, bullet went only 5 feet, when I tried to reload the cocking mechanism would’nt latch, needless to say I was’nt eating rhino burgers on the barbie the next day. no more nerf guns for me!!!!!!!

People say I’m crazy, but I prefer the Maverick over any other nerf gun out there. It’s easy to modify, and there are lots of modifications that can be made to make it better. Basically, if you don’t like something about it, it’s easy to fix and/or make better, if you have a couple of simple tools. :รพ

Well my mate has this and he loves it and so do I. Its Deadly at speed and the accuracy at close quarters is incredible!!!
This is by far my favorite gun. it takes all darts, is easy and fast to reload, and if you can get your hands on one of the limited edition clear ones like I did, they look AWSOME!!!!!!!!! This is by far my favorite nerf gun.

FACTS:
Only jams if you have no idea how to prime and fire.
Accuracy is great with micros/suction darts.
Range is around 27-33 feet, and an effective range of point blank to probably 15-20 feet.
Only bad thing is reloading is less than what I wanted. No matter.
Ok this i have just hot yesterday, and i am sure that it is the best handgun by nerf.

It’s a pretty good gun.I have it, the firing distance is okay.I like it because of the pop out system.
