I can vividly remember my younger cousin shouting "For Narnia!" while we were playing HALO 3 and shooting the TV, ultimately ending in us getting powned at Grifball. It is a great gun but the fire rate they put on it, [3 darts per second] I believe, was completely false. and the belt jams very easily.

The first time I used one of these sexy beasts was at my friends.<br

Good aspects:
one = is incredibly fast
two = in war all are at your mercy
three= have nerf gun no competition with this (if you can not move)
bad aspects
a = if you run out of bullets, all you get shot (I recommend having another gun, a nite finder)
two = when they hosted a war, all my cousins and my sister ask (jajajajaja)
three = from time to time gets stuck (I recommend not using the box of bullets, would get stuck a lot more)
in conclusion:
THIS IS MY FAVORITE GUN

I bought one a month ago<br

Because it was a used one, it did have some problems with it, but I figured some of them out. One problem was that it didn't fire the darts when I first shot it. That was because there was a friggin ball jammed in the barrel. Guess that's what you get when you give a vulcan to a 2 year old. I got the ball out and was able to fired. Batteries were already dead, though. I have to get new batteries for the thing and see how well it shoots then. The handle is also missing along with the ammo box, but I should get those from my instructor in a couple days (it's the weekend right now). It definitely is heavy and I had to get used to that first. After that, I liked the way it felt. All in all, it seems like a great gun, minus the pretty bad ranges.

I just got this thing today from my instructor for free. Holding out the belt straight and discarding the useless box (it looks stupid and doesn't do much) usually takes care of jamming. The bullets fly fast out the muzzle and are pretty accurate. The main problem is that the gun is too heavy for even the most tactical of Nerf wars. It is hard as hell to move quickly, and firing from the hip is near-impossible thanks to a bad center of gravity. It still is good for hiding and guarding corners, though.

This gun is pseudo-good. I won't really judge it on accuracy since it's purpose is to to throw alot of darts, not pin point one dart. With that said, it's no sniper rifle, but it does shoot darts where you aim. Reloading is a pain, so extra pre-loaded belts are a must.My biggest issue with this gun is the short range. 15-20ft is the max flat-fired range. If this was 5-10 feet greater, it would be one of my favorite guns, but instead, the range is a liability. Like was said before, it's ok for 1v1 or 2v2, but if there are more than 4 ppl & it's every man for himself, you'll get outgunned w/o a secondary weapon. It's also pretty heavy, but I love the tripod and the handle it comes with. That makes using it much easier. It also uses ALOT of expensive batteries!Despite all the negatives I gave, I like the power switch and the ability to shoot single shot w/o power. I gave it 8/10 stars, but would rather use the Raider & a Maverick...or my latest special, a Recon SMG w/the Raider drum.

My son really likes the Vulcan. You'll see a guy feeding the belts into the gun by hand.EVERY belt fed gun EVER up until about 15 years ago would periodically jam due to feed problems unless someone guided the belt into the receiver. Only recently have machine guns been built that can "pull" the belt in under their own power, so don't feel bad about having to hand feed your Nerf gun. ;)

A word about jamming due to feeding problems…

I don’t have one of these, btw.

The author says that feeding the belt with your non-firing hand alleviates the jamming problems.

Take a look at videos of machine gun fire as recently as the Vietnam war.
